Final Packaging Tech

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Final Packaging Technicians in the Tyngsboro, MA area!

The primary responsibility of the Final Packaging Technician is to ensure the safe and efficient assembly and packaging of products while adhering to strict quality control regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare product for shipment by accurately packing and labeling products in accordance with customer specifications, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), and regulatory guidelines.
Inspect packaging materials and products for defects and compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
Operate packaging equipment such as, but not limited to, heat sealers, labelers and other machinery used for product packaging.
Monitor the inventory of packaging and labeling materials, reporting any shortages or issues. Ensure materials are store properly and comply with quality control procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Work close with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Production, to ensure seamless workflow to meet production deadlines.
Address any packaging-related issues that arise during final packaging process, working collaboratively with the team to find solutions and improve processes.
Flexibility in working cross functionally to meet production demands.

Desired Background/Skills:

Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards is highly desirable.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Ability to operate basic technology like microsoft word and excel, an ipad etc
Ability to use microscope for long period of times
Clean room experience

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stop, kneel, crawl, talk or, hear, or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

8:00am-4:00pm, $21.00
