Fraud Alert

We have seen a recent uptick in fraudulent activity, particularly on Facebook, in which fraudsters pose as recruiters and extract sensitive information from candidates. Here’s how to protect yourself.

How to ensure that you’re working with us:

  • Only apply to jobs on our internal job board (coworxstaffing.com/job-search/).
  • Make sure any emails you receive have an @coworxstaffing.com email address domain.
  • Call your nearest branch to verify that you’re communicating with a legitimate recruiter/ posting (visit coworxstaffing.com/contact/locations/ to find the branch nearest you and contact information), message us on social media, or reach out to us via our website ‘Contact Us’ page to verify the recruiter’s identity.

And, remember…

  • We will NEVER ask for your personal information via chat or email. Only ever through our secure site or in person at a branch.
  • We will NEVER conduct interviews or contact you about a job via Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram/ Facebook Messenger, or other social media channels.
  • We will NEVER solicit I-9 documentation over the phone. Only provide sensitive information via our secure site or in-person at a branch. 
  • Most importantly, we will NEVER ask you for money – our services are at no cost to job seekers.
